The horses, with driver Neil Thorpe, were en route to the Tanbark Horse Show in Minnesota. Thorpe was unharmed. Thorpe reported hearing a strange sound and pulling the trailer to the roadside. By then, the trailer was filled with smoke. The horses thought to be in the trailer were The Man Of The Hour, Asylum and Another Heir.
