It was a beautiful sunny spring day in Missouri, and Margaret had enjoyed a very special day riding and driving her horses preparing them for the MHSA Kick-Off Show later this month. Several weeks earlier, Margaret was involved in a car accident and had been suffering headaches. She was scheduled for further testing and treatment. However, as she finished her day's work, she suddenly called out to Robert Stezovsky saying that she did not feel well. He rushed to her side as she collapsed. 911 was immediately called, and the emergency team took her to St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City where she did not respond to treatment. Funeral services will be held at her hometown of Milan, Missouri, on Sunday, April 16 at 2 p.m. Plans are being made for a class to be sponsored in Margaret's memory at the UPHA Chapter 5 Show in May.
