To submit your story or event for published consideration, email:traffic@tnh1865.com Desert Palms Equestrian Center to Offer Horsebackriding Camps Desert Palms Equestrian Center, located in Cave Creek, Arizona, will be offering several sessions of horsebackriding camps this year. Geared especially toward the younger generation, kids participating in the camp will learn all aspects of horse care, how to groom, saddle and bridle a horse, safety, as well as how to ride. This year's camp sessions will take place on the following dates: March 18 through 21, June 2 through 5, June 9 through 12, June 23 through 26, July 21 through 24 and December 29 through 31. Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of the camp is $425 per child with early registration (1 month before the camp date) costing $400. If a family is putting two or more children through the camp, or doing multiple sessions, the cost is $375. Participants must be between the age of 7 and 18, and bring a sack lunch and Gatorade; snacks, water and lemonade provided.
